Path to richness

Few principles -

1. Focus on wealth creation - not status, not riches (income etc). Wealth creation is an outcome of

   1. Income

   2. Lifestyles

   3. Investments (in no particular order)

   4. Luck

2. Think about how you can add value - Ikigai

   1. What do you like doing?

   2. What are you good at?

   3. What does the world need?

   4. What will the world pay you for?

3. Buyers beware. Right amount of optimism, but always alert / skeptical.

4. Entrepreneurs do not take risk - they minimize risk.

5. Thesis driven. How do you generate thesis - read a lot of thesis and then create your own thesis. Ability to PROCURE and analyze the RIGHT data.

6. Data can be manipulated to suit narratives - look for the RIGHT data.

7. Understand how the world works rather than how you want it to work.

8. Test your hypothesis in short formats.

9. Underpromise and overdeliver. Hard part, but try it.

10. Need to have an opinion - it could be wrong - but have an opinion backed by data.

11. Start young when it comes to adding value to others. E.g. mini business

12. Time is precious for everyone - find a reason for others to invest their time with you.
